Abitare il Tempo – Pelle d’Asino: sintesi sotto il manto

This is a story, a revision of my work with an eye to the iconographic meaning of the skin of objects, a debate which also involves other spheres of design such as graphics and architecture. New doubts, interests, and research are born from the possibilities offered by quantity control and the many other increasingly complex and refined technologies, which allow us to create new complexities without losing sight of mass production. I feel as though I cannot withdraw from this research which sends me back to a kind of arts and crafts world, and my roots, without detaching me from my Milanese way of thinking, always open to design synthesis. I believe it is necessary to address and try to understand how far these new possibilities of complexity and mass production can be examined together.
