Roberto Torretta’s Madrid showroom is located in a former construction warehouse. The architectural design focuses on two prerequisites, exploiting both the industrial planimetry and the day light. The project is articulated on a central corridor, intended as a filter area and functional distribution. Light penetrates from the skylight throughout the space; the showroom and corridor are divided by a transparent glass window, on which is applied a graphic, that casts its shadows and plays with light. The entrance wall and main façade are clad in copper-coloured metal mesh, echoed by the use of mirrors of the same hue. Materials include wood panels, white leather, grey resin and waxed oak. The showroom becomes a neutral and unitary space, designed for both creativity and collections display.
